Privacy policy
Happy Bunny Pet Services is run by Sue Ralphs in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. I look after your details the same way I look after your pets: carefully, and no more than needed.
The short version: I only ever use your details to look after your pets and to reply to you. I do not sell them, share them for marketing, or send you anything you have not asked for.
What I collect
When you enquire or book, I collect what I need to do the job properly:
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Your address, and how I get in, if I am visiting your home.
- Details about your pet: routine, feeding, medication, temperament and vet.
- Your dates, and an emergency contact if you give me one.
- Our messages, including WhatsApp and text conversations, and the photos and videos I send you while you are away.
Why I need it
To answer your enquiry, to arrange and carry out the care you have booked, to keep you updated while you are away, and to keep a record of the booking. Pet and vet details are there so I can act quickly if something goes wrong.
Who sees it
Only me. Nobody else has access to your details, and I never pass them to anyone for marketing.
There is one exception. If your pet needs a vet while in my care, I will give the vet whatever they need to treat your animal, including your name, contact number and your pet's details. I will always try to reach you first.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Your contact details and your pet's notes are stored on my own phone, which is passcode protected. Enquiries sent through the website form arrive in my email inbox.
I keep client details after a booking so that when you come back, you do not have to tell me everything again and I already know your pet. If you would rather I did not, just say and I will delete them.
Photos of your pet
The photos and videos I take are for you. I sometimes like to share a lovely one on my Facebook page, but only if you have said yes first. You can change your mind at any time and I will take it down.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to tell you what I hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. Just call, message or email and I will sort it out.
If you are ever unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and I do not build a profile of who visits.
